Protein Shake Recipe for Weight Gain

Peanut butter, banana, chocolate HEAVEN.

Did you know banana are one of the highest calorie fruits?

Since my fitness goals are to build muscle.. for me this protein shake is a quick, nutritious and DELICIOUS way to increase my overall calories for the day! This recipe is a perfect protein shake to have as a high calorie meal replacement OR after workout. Personally I have this after my post workout meal to help with feeding the muscle and overall gains - FOOD first girls!


For Weight Loss:

If your goal is not to gain weight or build muscle, this recipe can be cut in half and used as a delicious meal or snack!


- 1 cups almond milk (I often mix pea milk with almond milk to increase the protein)

- 1 scoop chocolate vegan protein powder (I use pescience)

- 1 medium frozen banana

- 1-2 tbsp organic peanut butter

- 2 tbsp hemp hearts

- 1 tablespoon maple syrup

- 1/2 tbsp cacao powder (I use giddy yoyo, it's very high in magnesium)


Nutritional Information: this is the ideal ratio of macronutrients I've been aiming for, for my weight gain goals!
