Anti-Inflammatory Homemade Face Mask
Anti-Inflammatory + Anti-Bacterial Face Mask
This is a face mask I use a couple times a week to help reduce skin inflammation and to keep my skin clean, nourished and healthy. Results can be noticed after one use!
It only requires 2 powerful ingredients:
Manuka Honey and Turmeric Powder
Turmeric has very powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Anti-inflammatory means to reduce inflammation. Including skin inflammation! For those with acne, damaged skin or if your like me (and you feel the need to touch everything that pops up on your face haha) turmeric can help reduce the skin inflammation and also makes the skin appear brighter.
Reduces Skin Inflammations
Manuka Honey has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties which will cleanse and purify the skin. It has a moisturizing effect by since it retaining moisture to the skin without making it oily. So it will keep your skin looking dewy and plump!
Manuka honey can promote skin regeneration, repairs cellular damage and helps heal scarring on the face.
Repairs and Promotes Regeneration
Not to mention it's very high in antioxidants, vitamins and enzymes. Out of all the honey's out there.. Manuka is the queen of honey's.
How to Make:
- 1/8 teaspoon organic Turmeric power
- 1 teaspoon pure Manuka Honey
In a small bowl mix the turmeric into the Manuka honey until it's fully combined.
How to Apply:
Give your face a good wash and exfoliation with warm-hot water to open the pores.
Pat dry your face and evenly apply the honey/turmeric mixture on your face, apply more to the irritated areas.
Leave on for up to 15 minutes.
Rinse off with warm-cool water and finish with your favourite moisturizer and skin oil (coconut, jojoba, argan etc.)
Use up to two times a week! You should notice results after one use.
