GO GROCERY SHOPPING

One of my favourite ways to get back into my normal routine after a holiday is going grocery shopping. It may sound weird but hear me out...

- You'll have some alone time to do something thats going to better your health now and in the long run.

- Pick out your favourite healthy foods.

- Feel motivated to make healthy meals.

- Your building a healthy satisfying RELATIONSHIP with food.

- Scan the aisles and you'll create some inspiration by looking at new food options.

- Re-kindle passion for healthy eating and nutrition.

PUT IT IN YOUR CALENDAR

Every week spend a few minutes with phone calendar. After your break pick up your phone and set your first workout in your calendar to ensure you're reminded to show up for yourself.

These are some great reminders and affirmations to add into your calendar to keep you motivated:

- GO GET THIS DAY

- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

- YOU CAN DO IT

- 5 MINUTES OF MOVEMENT IS BETTER THAN NONE

Schedule WHEN you will exercise and WHAT you will do. If you're not a program type of person and you'd rather do a workout - mark your sessions in your calendar. When you are reminded and see that you have set a time to workout FOR YOURSELF you will feel a push to get back into a healthy lifestyle. Don't forget to set an alarm.

In the WholeFit app you are reminded daily to move through push notifications and you'll receive a daily inspirational quote or health tip to keep your motivation on the right track!

EXERCISE WITH A FRIEND

Meeting up with a friend for a workout is such a motivating feeling! When you both show up together you know it's about to go down.

Plan an awesome workout, try partner exercises for a good laugh and have a GOOD time.

Don't forget about the support and happiness exercising with a friend can bring.

EXERCISE IS NOT JUST FOR THE GYM

Thankfully there are so many forms of exercise, not

only found in a gym or at home. Sometimes after taking a break the last thing you want to do is step inside a gym surrounded by people.

Here are some other actives you can do to encourage moving and getting back into a active lifestyle:

- Go for a walk or go a bike ride.

- Hike through nature.

- Do a yoga class or 10-20 minutes of stretching.

- Do anything that gets your body and blood flow moving.

In the WholeFit app there are a variety of different classes varying from short to full length workouts, stretching routines and much more you can do on those days when you maybe don't feel like accomplishing a full workout.

TAKE AWAY MESSAGE:

As long as you are motivating and committing yourself to get up and move your body, you are on the right track.
